The Standard of Conduct governing members of
Wedding Links

The clauses reproduced below indicate the general standard of conduct to which Wedding Links Pty Ltd - members must adhere in carrying out their professional duties.

1. Every member will at all times present themselves and their profession in such a manner as to uphold and dignify their professional status and the reputation of Wedding Links Pty Ltd.

2. Every member shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of the duties agreed to be performed by themselves, and in so far as any of their duties are discretionary, shall act fairly and with the utmost good faith, giving full consideration to the requirements of the client.

3. Any information acquired by a member during the course of their professional duties regarding any personal or confidential information of a client shall not be divulged by them to any other person, firm or company.

4. In any capacity a member be engaged, they shall act in a just and faithful manner towards clients, employers, employees and any other parties in their professional or business dealings.

5. Any member shall not attempt to supplant another member by direct means of a reduction in fees.

6. Every member shall ensure advertisements and other public announcements with which their name is associated are not as such as would bring Wedding links Pty Ltd into disrepute.

7. As a member you agree to promote and display promotional material supplied to you by Wedding Links Pty Ltd for the express purpose of increasing lead generation to the membership base.

8. A member may use, in conjunction with their own name, only such designatory letters or other descriptions to which they are legally entitled.

9. Any Members, Partners or Principle who shall willingly or knowingly condone or be a party to any act, which shall be in contravention of this Standard of Conduct, shall be equally responsible as if they had committed the breach.

10. Should circumstances prevent the full execution of the agreed contract with the client, maximum notice must be given and every alternative offered them to fulfill the agreed contract.

11. Members shall recognise the authority of Wedding Links Pty Ltd in all matters relating to the interpretation of the Standard of Conduct.

12. A member shall cease to be a member if:
(a) They fail to pay any sum of money due by them to Wedding Links Pty Ltd within one month of such sum becoming payable. A member so ceasing to be a member may be re-admitted by the Board upon payment of all arrears due;
(b) They resign;
(c) Being a Natural person: (i) They become bankrupt;
(ii) They are found lunatic or becomes of unsound mind;
(iii) They are convicted of a crime for which they are sentenced to imprisonment for 3 months or more;

13. It is at the discretion of the Directors to expel any member whose conduct, in the opinion of the directors, makes them no longer acceptable as a member of Wedding Links. Notice in writing setting forth the conduct complained of shall be sent to the member in question and will be given 21 days to reply in their own defense.

14. All members must present and maintain current licenses, insurances and certification relevant to their Industry for the entire duration of any membership period.

15. Any member shall not give benefit to any other person(s), body(s), or company(s) through the use of their membership status and/or benefits.
